A 70’s style party could be just the thing to spice up a boring little suare. People in a party such as this would dress as though, as the name suggests, they were from the 70’s. Their clothes, speech, food, and decorations would all mirror a huge flashback back to that groovy era. People would be dressed in bell bottom shoes and open neck shirts. Girls would be wearing roller skates and have their hair up in ridiculous fashions. Everyone would speak as though they were in the 70s and would say that things were groovy instead of cool, and that things were awesome instead of sick. The music, of course, would mirror the 70’s as well. They would listen to the Beatles, who although were a 60’s band, were certainly predominant throughout the 70’s. People would also listen to the Steve Miller Band, who were a huge influence in this era. Decorations would include disco balls and psychedelic wall hangings. People would be sporting bandanas and peace signs, since this era was all about peace and the world. Now, one of the most important things of a party is its invitations.
